HSC/HPM -Technology
Short machining times, high precision, superlative surfaces and low cutting forces for the following applications:
 

Integral parts made of aluminum
can be machined at removal rates of 3000-4000 cm3/min. This yields enormous reductions in production times, and much lower costs for machining on light alloy and plastic, or copper and graphite electrodes, or other patterns.


Hard milling of steel dies
with hardnesses of up to 68 HRC. In this application, HSC improves geometrical accuracy and surface finish (up to N6/N5), and allows entire process steps (usually EDM) to be eliminated.


Fluid-dynamic parts
Aeronautical, medical, and other components with stringent requirements for geometrical accuracy and surface finish. In every case, production time can be drastically shortened.


Precast parts for engines
transmissions, pumps, compressors, etc. can be processed with fewer machining steps in a fraction of the usual production time.


New materials
such as composites, fiber-reinforced plastics, and sandwich components can be milled with low cutting stresses and extremely high cutting speeds using HSC technology.


Furniture components
HSC technology offers a complete machining solution for wood parts, utilizing a broad range of cutting speeds.
